Businesses and markets did not ignore sedition, they can see past it – Houston Chronicle

President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election came to a dangerous head on Wednesday when a mob of his supporters stormed the U. S. Capitol following a rally in which Mr. Trump once again falsely claimed widespread voter fraud.

Trump supporters gathered in the nation’s capital today to protest the ratification of President-elect Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory over President Trump in the 2020 election.

Business leaders and politicians recognize that appealing to Trump supporters is a losing play as his influence shrinks and his faculties weaken.
